How long has my visa tenure?

As it is a Post Graduate Program, the Graduate Visa you can obtain is 18 months (about 1 and a half years) post your study. Including study, a total of 30 months (about 2 and a half years) is the total tenure of the Visa.

I am not from the Mental Health Background. Can I still do the program?

Yes. This program is open for any graduate candidates from their respective countries.

Do you help with the Visa process?

We have a dedicated Compliance team who will assist you with the Visa process once the CAS letter is obtained.

Do I need an active IELTS/OET while obtaining the NMC PIN?

As per the current rules, it is mandatory to have a valid IELTS/OET with NMC approved score to become an RN with NMC PIN.

Can I obtain job in NHS after the program

What is the minimum wage in the UK?

As per the current labor rules in the UK, £12.21 per hour is the minimum wage as of April 2025.

Why is the academic tenure only 6 months?

The program is for one year where 6 months of classroom training and 6 months of clinical placement are included.

Will I be paid during clinical placements?

No. It is part of your academic curriculum. The clinical placement is included in the program for ensuring that the students will get hands-on experience before they pass the program.

Can I take my family?

You can take your family once you complete the program and are under the Graduate Visa.

Does my spouse allowed to work in the UK after getting permission? How many hours are they allowed to work in a week?

Once the candidate obtains permission in Spouse Visa category, the spouse can obtain the right to work where they are allowed to work the same hours allocated to their partners.

What about my accommodation? Does the university provide it?

Yes. During the course curriculum you can attend the training by paying a moderate fee.

I have a valid Language Score, but it will expire before I complete my program. What is the choice of obtaining NMC PIN?

It is better to write IELTS/OET before the evaluation of NMC after the OSCE. If you are unable to clear, you may need to work in a Healthcare system for a period of 1 year under a Band 6 RN and a Band 8A administrator to get an exemption of language requirements of the NMC.

Do you have office support in the UK

We have our international office in the Crew Campus, Buckingham.

Whether I will get a part time work opportunity in the UK while studying. How many hours can I work?

Most of our students with good communication get part time work opportunities easily. As per the current rule, students can work up to 20 hours per week during term time for graduate and post graduate programs. During the official University vacations, students can work full time.
